Manukau retail complex
A consortium of medical specialists has purchased a vacant 1751 sq m retail complex on a 5090 sq m site at 175-179 Cavendish Drive, Manukau, for $5.4 million through Geoff Wyatt of Bayleys Manukau and Roger Revell of Barfoot & Thompson. The property, originally intended for a retail convenience centre, has been empty since its completion last year and encompasses two buildings of 1342 sq m and 410 sq m developed around 77 car parks. Wyatt says the new owners will occupy all of the space apart from a 105 sq m café area with a 72 sq m patio for which a tenant is being sought.
Hamilton parking building
A 445 space car park building on the corner of Knox St and Hood St in Hamilton has been sold on behalf of Hamilton City Council for $5.07 million to Care Park Properties Pty Ltd through Alan Pracy of Colliers International.
East Tamaki land block
A 1.4 ha undeveloped block of land at 78 Cryers Rd, East Tamaki, has been sold to a local owner occupier for $4.2 million by Jolyon Thomson, Paul Higgins and Greg Goldfinch of Colliers International.
Big Great North Rd site
A big 2568 sq m Mixed Use freehold site at 402 Great North Rd, Grey Lynn, has been sold for $3.29 million to an owner occupier by John Green, Kris Ongley, John Davies and Oscar Kuang of Colliers International.
