Pukekohe corner site

A 7028 sq m central Pukekohe corner site at 65-71 Edinburgh St featured in Bayleys Greater Auckland portfolio and containing a boutique shopping complex and the Saloon Saloon bar and restaurant has sold for $6.2 million through James Chan and Matt Lee of Bayleys Auckland; and Shane Snijder of Bayleys Pukekohe. The sale represented a 7.3 per cent yield and the property, comprising three buildings totalling 2843 sq m and 12 tenancies with 375 sq m of vacant space, was purchased by a development company which Chan says will look to add value to the underutilised site.   

 

Whenuapai development land

Meir Alfassi from Harveys Te Atatu Real Estate has sold 2.8935ha of potential urban development land at 162 Fred Taylor Drive, Whenuapai, to an investor for $2,980,000. The property derives an income of $124,000 per annum from a 300 sq m office, three bedroom house and storage yard leased to Ask Metro Limited.  

 

Albany childcare centre

A 266 sq m childcare centre licensed for 50 children, on 1550 sq m of Residential 5 zoned land at 428 Albany Highway, Albany, was sold under the hammer for $1,827,000 at a 6.02 per cent yield at Bayleys Greater Auckland auction following strong bidding. Leased to Junior Junction (Secret Garden) Ltd from August 2010 for 12 years with four six-year rights of renewal, the property  was marketed by Shane Snjider and Tony Chaudhary of Bayleys Maunukau Countries and Ranjan Unka of Bayeys North Shore Commercial.

 

Devonport retail villa

A Mixed Use zoned three-bedroom villa at 2 Calliope Road, Devonport, with a road frontage retail area, sold with vacant possession prior to Bayleys’ Greater Auckland auction for $1,095,000. Located on a 721 sq m site zoned Residential 3A, with rear access from High St the property was sold by Michael Block of Bayeys North Shore Commercial and Helen Mitchell of Bayleys Devonport.

 

Epsom top level office

A 253 sq m top level office unit at 107 Great South Rd, Epsom, with eight car parks sold for $985,000 at a 7.21 per cent yield under the hammer at Bayleys’ Greater Auckland auction. Leased to taxation consultants for four years from February 2015, with a telecommunications tower lease to Vodafone, the property was marketed by Laurie Bell and  Kate Kirby of Bayleys Auckland.

 

Papakura swimming unit

At the same auction a 415 sq m commercial unit at 41A Elliott Street, Papakura, occupied by a swimming school for the past 10 years, and with a current six-year lease from May 2010, sold for $650,000 at a 10.92 per cent yield through Shane Snijder,  John Bolton and Katie Wu of Bayleys Manukau Counties.
