Horse & Trip, 3 Enfield St, Mt Eden
Horse & Trap Mt Eden
An 889 sq m three level, century-old character building occupied by the Horse & Trap bar and restaurant at 3 Enfield St, Mt Eden has sold for $2.8 million at an 8.5 per cent yield through Alan Haydock of Bayleys Auckland. The 1626 sq m Mixed Use zoned site in three titles has a sealed car park area has development potential.
South Auckland land sales
Bayleys’ Marty Roestenburg has been involved in two substantial land sales totalling $9.2 million in South Auckland. One sale, negotiated in conjunction with Peter Migounoff, was of a 4.1552 ha site at 22 Popes Rd, Takanini that was purchased for $4.1 million or $98.6 a sq m, by an owner occupier intent on building a large industrial complex. The site, zoned Industrial under the Takinini Structure Plan 15 Area 6, is opposite Gen-I and Revera’s new $60 million data centre and is currently a lifestyle block with a substantial four bedroom home. The other sale, negotiated with Chris Bayley, encompassed 20.15 ha of vacant land at 17 Clevedon Kawakawa Rd, Clevedon. Zoned Future Residential it was sold for $5.million or $25.50 a sq m to a developer.
Te Atatu Peninsula industrial
A 3392 sq m engineering workshop, warehouse and office building on a 7615 sq m site at 60A Wharf Rd, Te Atatu Peninsula, with 65 car parks and around 40 per cent site coverage, has sold for $4.1 million at a 7.2 per cent yield through Sunil Bhana and Mike Houlker of Bayleys Auckland. Featured in Bayleys’ final Total Property portfolio for 2014, the property has a 10 year lease to Scott Package Handling Systems from October 2014.
Balmoral two level retail
A 944 sq mtwo level building on a 470 sq msite at 660 Dominion Rd, Balmoral sold post Bayleys’ final Total Property auction for 2014 for $1,750,000 through Millie Liang. About 313 sq m on the ground floor formerly occupied by a supermarket is vacant with the balance of the building containing an upstairs restaurant and a takeaway downstairs.
Te Puke development site
Jim McKinlay and Mathew Gibbard of Bayleys Tauranga, have sold a 3817 sq m development site on the corner of Queen St and Oxford St in Te Puke’s commercial zone for $1.2 million at $314 per sq m. Formerly a New World Supermarket, the property is to be redeveloped for commercial use.
Orewa office building
A 120 sq m office building on a 1260 sq m site with numerous car parks and suitable for a wise variety of uses at 99 Centreway Rd, Orewa, was sold with vacant possession for $1,135,000 by Terry Kim of Bayleys North Shore.
