Industrial building sold in Poland
A 2776 sq m industrial building at 18 Poland Rd, Wairau Valley, with 1665 sq m of medium stud warehousing on a 3811sq m site and opposite a Mitre 10 Mega store, has been sold with vacant possession on behalf of a relocating owner occupier for $3.7 million by Matt Mimmack, Laurie Burt and Ranjan Unka of Bayleys North Shore Commercial.
Ray White rings in Chinese New Year
Bruce Whillans’ team at Ray White Commercial has achieved $73 million in sales in the first two months of 2015 with Kathy Ying ringing in the Chinese New Year by selling $48 million worth of property to two separate investors based in China including a 4387 sq m Queen Street office tower for $23.2 million for a 7.2 per cent yield and a large 3.9 ha block of Mixed Use zoned land in the Albany Estate for $25 million or $641 per sq m. Stuart Bode and Henry Thompson sold two new purpose built fast food restaurants on Oteha Valley Rd in the Albany City Centre as one parcel for $5.89 million representing an initial yield of 5 per cent and 8.1 ha of prime medium/high density residential development land less than 1 km from the new Westgate Town Centre for $12.5 million or $154 per sq m.
Two surplus Manukau land sites
Two separate sites at 182-186 and 194-198 Cavendish Drive, Manukau, owned by Auckland Council and encompassing 3098 sq m of Business 5 Mixed Use zoned land have sold with vacant possession to one buyer for $1,850,000 or $597 per sq m through Dave Stanley, Ben Bayley and Tony Chaudhary of Bayleys Manukau. The land was originally acquired to facilitate the widening of Cavendish Drive and on completion they were surplus to council requirements. The sites, in four titles ranging from 770 sq m to 855 sq m and separated by another block of land, were purchased by a developer.
