Former Ponsonby Fire Station sold

The 820sq m two-level former Ponsonby Rd fire station building and its 1400sq m corner site, at 182 Ponsonby Rd, have sold for $12m through Bayleys’ Cameron Melhuish and Mike Adams. The site has a Town Centre zoning permitting a 13m height limit.

Christchurch property leased

Knight Frank salespeople Elliot Clayton, Sam Stone and Campbell Taylor have leased out a 3001sq m warehouse and 607sq m office space for $250,000 per annum at 5 Mary Muller Drive, Christchurch.

Hastings retail investment

A 3254sq m retail investment property at 100 Heretaunga St West, Hastings, has sold by negotiation for $6.1m. The deal was brokered by Danny Blair of Colliers International, representing a yield of 9.35 per cent.

Paeroa Pet food factory

A vacant 1150sq m industrial building on a 9800sq m site at 56 Grey St, Paeoroa, has sold vacant at auction for $1.2m through Josh Smith, Bayleys Waikato. The former pet food processing facility came with blast freezers, holding chillers and a large yard area.

Mangere commercial site

A 12,432sq m commercial site at 221 Ihumatao Rd, Mangere, has sold by negotiation for $4,844,970. The deal was brokered by Ash Vincent of Colliers International.

Taken away in Whangaparoa

Bayleys Orewa agent Mustan Bagasra has sold two retail properties in Whangaparoa for $1,276,000. A 240sq m building on a 450sq m site at 1 Wade River Rd sold vacant for $856,000. At 741 Whangaparaoa Rd, an 80sq m shop on a 187sq m site sold for $420,000 and a 4.4 per cent yield. A Turkish takeaway tenant exercised the first of three three-year rights of renewal last December.

Papamoa childcare centre

A 3007sq m childcare centre at 7 Twin Oak Ave, Papamoa, Tauranga has sold at auction for $2.3m. The deal was brokered by Grant White, Simon Clark and Rob Shoeser of Colliers International with the sale representing a yield of 5.64 per cent.

Hornby high stud warehouse

A 1200sq m high stud warehouse and 200sq m office building completed in 2012 on a 4319sq m site at 128A Waterloo Rd, Hornby, has been sold for $4.1m at a 6.7 per cent yield by Stewart White, Chris Frank, and Alex White, Bayleys Christchurch.
