Christchurch office building

A 1401sq m freehold commercial office at 410 Colombo St, Christchurch, has sold for $4.8m. The deal was brokered by Will Franks and Mark Macauley of Colliers International.

Grey Lynn warehouse

A well-presented 1832sq m office and warehouse building with 28 car parks on a 1960sq m site at 24 Mackelvie St, Grey Lynn, has sold for $9.5m. The deal was brokered by Henry Thompson of Whillans Realty Group through an on-market tender.

Westgate childcare centres

A new 1159sq m childcare centre on a 3998sq m site at 575 Don Buck Rd, Westgate, has sold for $4.7m at a 6.08 per cent yield through Bayleys’ Tony Chaudhary, Janak Darji, James Chan and Matt Lee. It is leased to Learning Tree Childcare Centre for 15 years. A 188sq m childcare investment at 11 Bailey Avenue, Hamilton, has sold at auction for $1.24m. The deal was brokered by Mark Brunton and Alan Pracy of Colliers International, representing a yield of 5.56 per cent. A 1419sq m corner site at 336 Great South Rd, Papakura, consented for a childcare centre catering for 85 children, with an existing brick and tile dwelling sold for $1.45m through Tony Chaudhary, Amy Weng and Janak Darji, Bayleys South Auckland.

Dunedin development site

A 8428sq m circa 1970s industrial land and development site at 130 Portsmouth Drive, Dunedin, has sold with vacant possession for $2.2m net. The deal was brokered by Dean Collins of Colliers International.

Paraparaumu data centre

A 3616sq m data centre on a 1.0865ha corner site at 35 Te Roto Drive, Paraparaumu has sold for $5,710,000 at an 8 per cent yield through Mark Sherlock and Stephen Lange, Bayleys Wellington. Unisys NZ has occupied the site for 17 years and signed a new five-year lease in October 2016.

Mangere freehold land

A 2136sq m freehold site at 11 Mahunga Drive, Mangere, has sold on the market for $1,055,000, in a deal brokered by Dwayne Warby and Brad Johnston of Colliers International.

Auckland Queen St floor

A 408sq m office floor plus an 88sq m courtyard on Level 6 of 175 Queen St, Auckland, with basement carpark, has sold for $1,280,000 at 6.99 per cent yield through Quinn Ngo and Matt Lee of Bayleys’ international division. The tenant renewed for two years in April.
