Built in 1882 the Masonic is the last of the original Waitara hotels still standing.

Refurbed in the 1950 it was given an extreme makeover again in 2014.

The top half of the hotel was remodelled to accommodate 8 modern suites all with exclusive ensuites, plus an owners/managers 1 bedroom flat was created with an exclusive ensuite and kitchen, the hallways were lined, gib stopped, painted and new carpet laid throughout.

All suites use a key card entry system.

On the ground level we have a bar that is home to the 18 gaming machines, a small lounge bar, dining room and kitchen (the last two being underutilised) plus room to create more accommodation (4 rooms) or bottle store (licensing permitting).

Included in the sale are the two adjacent buildings both of which are currently empty.

Accommodation numbers have been on the increase. e.g. Dec 2014 - 41 guest nights, Dec 2015 - 97 guest nights.

The hotel holds both on license and off license (with the latter possibly being better utilised).

Land area of the property is 1528sqm (more or less) over three titles with a building floor area of approximately 1168sqm which still allows generous off street parking.

The land is leased from the NPDC through to 30/09/2027 for the McLean Street properties and 31/10/2027 for the Warre Street with a total annual rental of $3,985.00pa plus GST.

For a full Information Memorandum, copies of the leases etc please contract Alan or Iain.
